Hazel was the youngest ever Grandstand presenter. She’s since become the first female lead anchor to host a men’s golf major, and is, of course, the doyenne of snooker coverage. She might also mention interviewing Pavarotti about showjumping, Seve Ballesteros saying he wanted to be remembered as an artist, and what it was really like as a “woman in a man’s world” of TV sport in the 1980s.

The one-time gymnast has written for The Times and performed standup for Sports Relief alongside her more regular roles hosting football, rugby, athletics and Olympics coverage

The football and darts aficionado has fronted coverage of the ever-popular BDO World Darts and EFL highlights, as well as hosting Radio 5 Live’s entertaining look at the weeks sporting news, Fighting Talk. The ex-Radio 1 DJ has also hosted NFL coverage and his own daily talkSPORT show.

As well as co-hosting Breakfast and previewing the weekend’s football, Dan is also a 5Live presenter, Mastermind contestant and Crawley Town fan. He’s also known for his success in extracting information from Alex Ferguson.

The former French Open winner fronts Wimbledon and hosts BBC’s A Question of Sport.

Having fronted programmes from All Star Family Fortunes to Splash!, NFL coverage to his own radio shows on Radio 1 and Radio X, Vernon is one of of the country’s most familiar and popular presenters.
