JLA is the UK's biggest specialist agency for keynote, motivational and after dinner speakers, conference presenters, awards hosts and cabaret for corporate, industry and public sector events.

Performers & Corporate Entertainment

Entertaining performers bring light relief to a strenuous programme, either during the day’s business or after dinner. A celebrity might help attract important guests, though many of the best performers are unknown outside the circuit and command considerably more modest fees. Like any talent agency or speaker bureau, JLA won’t turn away gargantuan budgets – but with acres of feedback on all kinds of performers and corporate entertainment, we also like to prove that you don’t need to pay ‘AA’ fees to ensure that people will laugh. There’s little connection between artist profile and audience appreciation: we all enjoy making a discovery.

As a presenter, Tom teases home bakers and budding entrepreneurs and rummages around our towns. To The Guardian, he is simply ‘The master of the nonstop rant.’

From predicting lottery numbers to playing Russian Roulette on live television to revealing the tricks and manipulations of hoaxers, fraudsters and charlatans, Derren has combined the spectacular, the bewildering and the insightful. He reveals that how we think, and how we think we think aren't always the same. Alongside acclaimed TV and stage shows, Derren is the author of Happy: Why More or Less Everything is Absolutely Fine and A Little Happier: Notes for Reassurance, practical and personal examinations of what happiness is, what is almost certainly isn't, and how to view our goals and lives in a more positive way.
