Georgie has hosted Sky Sports News, guested in League Of Their Own and moved from speedway to sailing, via F1.

Biography

Georgie Ainslie is both broadcaster and journalist. She joined GMTV as an entertainment researcher, then took the plunge to front Sky Sports News.

After months of 4am starts on Good Morning Sports Fans, she moved to a more respectable hour presenting the daily afternoon show covering the biggest rolling developments in British and world sport. She also covered major events including the US Open and Wimbledon, Formula 1, and the America’s Cup.

Georgie also became on regular alongside Andrew Flintoff, Jamie Redknapp, James Corden and John Bishop on the sport-comedy panel show A League of Their Own.

After a season presenting Sky’s F1 coverage, Georgie spent a year with Fox Sports in the US on Crowd Goes Wild. She returned to the UK to co-host Radio 5 live’s entertaining take on the week’s big sporting news, Fighting Talk.

Away from the microphone Georgie has written for a range of newspapers and magazines, and used to pen her own Question & Answer page on the Sky website. She also raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support by cycling in the 81-mile Etape Caledonia.
