Ruth is This Morning's longest serving presenter, and is a regular panellist on Loose Women. 


Biography

Ruth Langsford is a host on ITV’s daily chat show Loose Women where she anchors the programme several times a week. She is also the longest serving presenter on This Morning.

Ruth began her broadcasting career began at Westcountry TV, where she made Fern Britton's tea, hosted the evening news, and presented her own chat show. From there, she moved into national television and fronted shows for BBC One, BBC Two, ITV and several digital channels. Ruth is a popular guest on numerous entertainment formats from Celebrity Juice to her infamous appearance on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, where her ‘twerking’ in front of the nation was one of the highlights in Get Out of My Ear.

In addition to her daytime presenting roles, Ruth has a primetime series with her husband Eamonn Holmes, How the Other Half Lives. The show explores the lifestyles of the super-rich. Ruth enjoys cooking and showcased her skills on Marco’s Kitchen Burn Out. She also presented The Great British Garden Show.

Ruth also has a passion for fashion; and hosts her show Ruth Langsford’s Fashion Edit on QVC. She also designed her own clothing range, exclusively available on QVC. She also launched her live fashion, beauty, and lifestyle event Feeling Fabulous which welcomes industry experts to deliver workshops, demonstrations, and talks.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
