From his early appearances on The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother, Rylan has gone on to host This Morning and front his own Radio 2 show. 

 

 


Biography

Rylan started his career as a contestant with his larger-than-life performances on the ninth series of The X Factor, before going on to win the eleventh series of Celebrity Big Brother. Since then, then he has carved out a successful broadcasting career known for his work on Strictly: It Takes Two, This Morning, Celebrity Gogglebox, Eurovision, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, and as the host of BBC Radio 2’s Rylan on Saturday. He was nominated for Best Presenter at the Nation Television Awards two years running, and has been listed as Radio Times’ TV Presenter Champion.

In addition to his presenting and television work, Rylan tried his hand at acting with a cameo in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie and wrote a Sunday Times bestselling autobiography The Life of Rylan and the follow up TEN: The Decade That Changed My Future. He’s even been the immortalised in the form of a 17th century–style miniature by artist Grayson Perry as part of his study of modern identity through portraiture.
