Household name Dermot O’Leary is a presenter on ITV’s This Morning, alongside Alison Hammond. He also hosts The Dermot O'Leary Show on BBC Radio 2.

His book The Soundtrack to My Life is the story of Dermot's life so far. From growing up in Colchester with his Irish born parents, to landing one of the biggest jobs in television when he became the host of The X Factor. Throughout his journey, music has been a constant companion, and he shares the songs and artists that make up his musical DNA.

Dermot has hosted events including The National Television Awards, Soccer Aid, the British Academy of Film & Television Awards alongside Edith Bowman, and The BRITS with Emma Willis.

As Patron of the London Irish Centre, Dermot was awarded the prestigious Presidential Distinguished Service Award for the Irish Abroad for his contribution to charity. He is also an ambassador for UNICEF and CAFOD.

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
