Nikki is a presenter and technology and automotive presenter with over ten years of TV and event hosting experience that has taken her around the globe and seen her work with some of the world’s most exciting technology and car brands.

 


Biography

Nikki Dean has over fifteen years of TV presenting and event hosting experience. She is known for her work as a technology and automotive presenter testing and reviewing all the latest Technology, gadgets, and cars.

Nikki’s skills lie in communicating complicated topics in a fun but informed way, whilst her extensive live TV experience mean she's always ready for every eventuality. Her work has taken her around the globe and seen her work with some of the world’s most exciting brands in technology and sport.

She hosts and co-produces an online series on Artificial Intelligence, called Inside AI, as well as a podcast called Talking AI, where she interviews people changing the world through Artificial Intelligence. She also tests consumer gadgets.

Nikki’s presenting career began in entertainment reporting before becoming The Guardian Media Group's Breakfast Show anchor. From there she became the first and only digital presenter for Strictly Come Dancing's online and red button show, bringing audiences all the backstage gossip for six series. Alongside this she was a Gadget Girl on BBC 2's Something for the Weekend for two years, reviewing and testing the latest consumer gadgets live on TV with Tim Lovejoy.

Her obvious love of technology coupled with her down to earth northern nature attracted the attention of well-known technology brands, and it wasn’t long before the offers flooded in to launch products, host events, and front branded content.

Nikki also has a love of motorsport and has fronted various competition formats including Formula Woman Racing, and Rokit's F4 ESports competition. She has also become an ambassador for encouraging more women and young people into motorsport.

She has hosted events at the Mobile World Congress, IFA, Hub: Berlin, and The Ideal Home Show Live.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
