Frankie Boyle

Fee Band

Uncompromising, confrontational, controversial and very funny, Frankie Boyle is one of the most talked about comedians in the UK having baited tabloids, insulted viewers and entertained millions.

Biography

Arguably one of the most controversial comedians of recent years, Frankie Boyle has become known for combining originality with pushing the boundaries of mainstream comedy whilst remaining consistently entertaining.

After a stint on the live circuit Frankie joined the Mock the Week team and became a permanent panellist, branded the programme’s “dark heart” by host Dara OBriain. Frankie’s intelligent, risqué material made him a hit with audiences and the bête noire of tabloid newspapers.

Frankie became a regular guest and writer on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, and also a frequent guest on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks before Channel 4 commissioned his own programme. The typically uncompromising show, Tramadol Nights, combined standup and sketches and wilfully courted controversy.

A live force of nature, with trademark rapid fire, confrontational delivery, Frankie combines topical observations with sometimes vicious reflections on life, society, politicians, celebrity and consumer culture. Having taken a break from standup, Frankie now returns, as fierce and as funny as ever.
