A regular on radio and TV, Andy’s ability to take a witty, irreverent look at current events saw him become a fixture on Mock the Week. As a lynchpin of the Comedy Store’s Cutting-Edge team, he gained an admirable reputation for producing new, topical material every week.
Andy started his career writing for Weekending and Smith and Jones, before he went on to become one of the main writers on Spitting Image. He has performed on numerous TV shows including Live at the Apollo, QI, The Stand-Up Show, The Comedy Store and They Think It’s All Over.
He also had a highly acclaimed political podcast, Slacktivist Action Group, which was recorded at London’s Soho Theatre.
On the live circuit, Andy’s combination of self-deprecation, topicality and disenchantment has made him a stalwart of the world's comedy festivals, regularly appearing at Edinburgh, Sydney, Melbourne and Montreal.
