Biography

Andrew Hunter Murray is a bestselling novelist, comedy writer, broadcaster, and a podcast and live host. He co-hosts the award-winning podcast No Such Thing As A Fish, one of the UK’s most popular comedy podcasts which has led to international tours and a BBC2 spin-off series. A former writer and researcher for QI, Andrew was one of the 'QI Elves' before launching the podcast.

Since then Andy has gone on to present BBC Radio 4’s satirical news show The Naked Week, and hosts Page 94, the Private Eye podcast, alongside writing for the magazine. As an author, he has written Sunday Times bestselling novels including The Last Day, The Sanctuary, and A Beginner’s Guide to Breaking and Entering

An accomplished live interviewer and moderator, Andy combines rigorous research with instinctive curiosity and sharp wit. As a writer and journalist, he can navigate complex topics, from science and sustainability to politics and culture, whilst matining focus on the subjects and keeping audiences engaged, informed and entertained.
