Synopsis

Originally a reporter in Hong Kong, Sue spent many years as a medical correspondent - winning awards for her campaigning coverage of MRSA.

Biography

Sue Saville is the former Medical Correspondent for ITV News, covering national and global health and medical stories. She was also Chief Correspondent at GMTV.

After working as a reporter on Hong Kong radio, Sue joined the BBC. She worked in regional and national newsrooms for a number of years before moving to BBC Breakfast News. She then moved to ITV.

Sue has covered a range of national and international events. She conducted an exclusive live interview with President Nelson Mandela and covered the hand over of Hong Kong to China. She has written for The Times, won awards for her campaigning coverage of MRSA, and
presented and produced the documentary ‘The Ice Patrol’ in the Antarctic

Sue also occasionally presents the ITV News Hour, Sunday Review and news bulletins for ITV.
