Since Joanne burst onto the comedy scene, she's become the co-host on RTÉ 2’s flagship comedy show Republic of Telly, co-wrote and starred in the stage show Separated At Birth, a comedy about her adoption, and sold out her first ever solo stand up show in Dublin. She is the co-host of the popular podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me with Vogue Williams, which gets one million downloads a week. The podcast has performed live shows in venues including The London Palladium.
Described by the Sunday Times as a ‘truly gifted stand-up’, Joanne McNally has taken Ireland’s comedy scene by storm with sell-out tours, chat show appearances, newspaper articles and a hit documentary.
Joanne has enjoyed sell-out Edinburgh runs with her shows Wine Tamer and The Prosecco Express and has performed at the 3Arena in Dublin, alongside John Bishop, Michael McIntyre, and Dara Ó Briain.
The funny and insightful documentary, Baby Hater, was created, written, and presented by Joanne, and went on to be sold to twelve countries. Her first one-woman show Bite Me, a show about eating disorders, was nominated for multiple awards including Best Performer, Best Production, and a First Fortnight award at the Dublin Fringe.
Joanne’s slew of TV credits includes co-hosting RTÉ 2’s flagship comedy show Republic of Telly, and appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, The Big Fat Quiz of Everything, and Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back. She’s also starred on Comedy Central’s online series Comedian’s Solve World Problems.
Her radio credits include BBC Radio 4’s A Good Read, BBC Radio 5 Live’s Sarah Brett show and a regular slot on 2FM’s Mack the Week. She has also appeared on Russell Kane’s podcast Evil Genius, and Emma Gannon’s CTRL, ALT, DELETE.
