Fearne is one of the most recognisable TV and radio hosts in the UK. She’s also a bestselling author and founder of the wellbeing brand Happy Place, which became the premise for her chart-topping podcast.


Biography

Fearne Cotton is a mental health advocate, best-selling author, broadcaster, and founder and creator of the Happy Place brand. She has evolved the brand into a podcast, festival, publishing, and mobile app space. She is passionate about making self-care inclusive, relatable, and straightforward, and has encouraged and demystified conversations around mental health.

Starting out on children’s television at just fifteen, Fearne graduated to mainstream TV with Top of the Pops, where she went on to become the shows last regular presenter. She has been part of Comic Relief and Children In Need, guest presented The One Show, and was on the hosting team for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Fearne is also the author of a number of bestselling self-help books including Happy, Calm, Quiet, Speak Your Truth and Bigger Than Us. She has written books on healthy eating such as Cook Happy, Cook Healthy, Cook. Eat. Love and Happy Vegan

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
