Calum Macdonald is a presenter and journalist on Times Radio. He joined the station from its launch and now presents the breakfast show, as well as programmes across the network.
Prior to joining Times Radio, Calum was a producer, reporter and presenter at the BBC working on Radio 5 Live and at BBC Radio Scotland, where he presented a weekly political phone-in: Debate Night Extra. He's covered programmes on Afghanistan, the death of the Duke of Edinburgh and has interviewed interesting people from all walks of life including cabinet ministers and senior politicians, spies, war reporters and protestors. He also regularly appears on TV and in print in The Times, and his home paper the Stornoway Gazette.
His inquisitive, journalistic nature makes him a brilliant interviewer and host, keeping any audience engaged. He has hosted events for News UK, including a live broadcast afternoon interviewing Piers Morgan and Sharon Osborne around the launch of TalkTV.
