“Giving a cappella a kick up the backside”, The Sons of Pitches are a multi-award winning vocal group who use beat-boxing and complex harmonies to captivate their audiences.

Biography

The Sons were the first winners of Gareth Malone’s The Naked Choir on BBC2, and now with over two million hits on YouTube, their reputation has gone international. They embarked on a tour of the UK, USA and Asia, headlining at the The Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival, and sold out their debut show at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The Sons of Pitches’ elaborate vocal acrobatics and expansive catalogue have entertained audiences of all types and sizes around the world. Their original numbers, improvisations, and pop covers include an eerily beautiful version of Wuthering Heights, a dynamic rendition of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, and their humorous History of Boybands medley.

As well as their live performances, The Sons of Pitches also deliver vocal workshops, and they have collaborated with the Royal Opera House Learning and Participation department to raise confidence in children from primary to secondary level. They can also adapt this for the corporate world.
