Chris Heemskerk is a leading voice in Innovation Strategy and Innovation Culture, AI and Digital Transformation. Having held senior roles at leading technology companies, including Google and Apple, he went on to found The Innovation Alliance. As CEO of the organisation, which serves as a global network of technology executives and innovation leaders, as well as a means to share his vision on corporate innovation.
In his time at Google, Chris served as the former Head of Scaled Acquisitions in North America. Here, he transformed this area of the business into a global innovation centre, and as a consequence of this he served as an advisor to Google’s Innovation Lab, and established a partnership with Harvard Business School to document the Innovation Lab’s work in two of the school’s case studies.
From here, and with the aim of providing the necessary resources for companies to have a framework for innovation, he authored The Innovation Scorecard. This enables firms to maximise their innovation capabilities and discover new growth opportunities.
