Biography

After starting out as a Guardian sports reporter, Josh switched to stand-up and very soon earned a nomination for the Edinburgh Best Newcomer Award. According to a Times critic he displays ‘a confidence and charm that could see him sell out stadiums.’

Josh has appeared on Live At The Apollo and is a regular on Mock The Week. He fronted Radio 5 live’s Fighting Talk, and shares Adam Hills’ sofa in The Last Leg – Channel 4’s comedy take originally on the Paralympics but then on the world of sport and news more generally. He also wrote and starred in his own BBC flat-share sitcom, Josh.

Other credits include 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You, QI, Insert Name Here, A League of Their Own, and Taskmaster. He’s supported Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr and Kevin Bridges on tour.

Agent Recommendation

The fresh-faced young comic comes out with unexpectedly dry humour. It’s observational comedy at its best, which will have the audience reminiscing and laughing as if they’re all in on a private joke. JLA Agent Emily Collier
