According to The Scotsman, ‘if Prozac was human it would be Adam Hills.’ He brought the same energy to Channel 4’s Paralympic show. The smiling Aussie comic now hosts a prime-time chat show back home, but returns to the UK for The Last Leg – sharing his contagiously positive outlook.
Adam Hills is one of Australia’s most talented comedians. His upbeat, energetic comedy and rampant spontaneity have won rave reviews and universal acclaim - including three Perrier nominations.
Whether he’s comparing the merits of his Aussie countrymen with Brits and Yanks or showing off his artificial limb, Adam’s positive take on life is a refreshing alternative to the cynical comics who dominate the circuit.
Adam has become one of the highlights of the Edinburgh Fringe, with sold-out houses for his most recent offering. His debut show, Go You Big Red Fire Engine, went on to a West End run at Her Majesty's.
Already a TV regular in his native land, Adam is now the host of Channel 4’s topic comedy show The Last Leg. Other UK television credits include several appearances on Mock the Week as well as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Stand Up Show. In Australia, Adam hosts his own top-rated radio show, but he is probably best known as presenter of ABC’s Spicks and Specks (he also co-hosted the channel’s Paralympics coverage), and his prime-time chat show Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight.
