BIOGRAPHY
Kate Humble presents Animal Park and The Hottest Place on Earth. With Bill Oddie, she also hosts the phenomenally successful SpringWatch and AutumnWatch, widely praised for reigniting public interest in nature.
Kate joined the BBC on Animal Hospital, then moved on to Holiday. She followed up with her own series, Humble Holidays, exploring maximum fun at minimum cost. Other credits include Tomorrow's World, Restoration and The Spice Trail.
Armed with bundles of enthusiasm, Kate has now carved out a niche as a specialist on the natural world. She has reported on the impact of climate change, presented Abyss and Countryfile, and filmed India's dancing bears for Rolf's Amazing Animals.
Kate is spending 2011 recording the Earth's progress around the sun for BBC programme 23 Degrees.
