When he isn’t working on his magic Stephen has a slate of entertainment shows on ITV – from Catchphrase to a game for celebrity parents.
Stephen Mulhern is a prime-time television presenter best known for hosting the new Catchphrase and spin-off shows for Dancing on Ice and Britain's Got Talent.
Starting out in children's television, Stephen found success with his television shows Brilliant Creatures, Fingertips, Globo Loco, the Bafta award winning Quick Trick Show and ITV's Saturday morning show The Ministry of Mayhem. They showcased his bright, energetic personality along with his magic skills and sense of fun.
Moving towards mainstream TV, Stephen went on to host the long-running show Animals Do The Funniest Things, and also Magic Numbers, Big Star's Little Star, and the revival of the ITV institution, Catchphrase. As well as fronting Britain’s Got More Talent he has guest hosted This Morning and Sunday Night At The Palladium. He also developed and presented his own magic show for Channel 4, Freaky.
Away from television, Stephen presents the Sunday Breakfast show on Heart FM alongside Emma Willis. On stage, he’s starred in many pantos, and also the theatre productions of Grease where he played Danny Zucco. He has also toured in his own show called Stephen's Mega Mad Magic Show.
