Ore Oduba is a BBC Sport presenter who has worked on the broadcaster’s coverage of Olympic and Commonwealth Games, as well as a variety of live music and national events. He’s also demonstrated his dancefloor skills to win Strictly Come Dancing.
After applying to a BBC-backed training scheme, Ore started his career on Newsround, the children's television institution. He graduated from reporter to presenter, and also fronted the sports spin-off Sportsround and the children’s football show Match of the Day Kickabout.
Going on to present reports for BBC Breakfast and Radio 5Live, Ore has also presented coverage of the Commonwealth and Olympic Games, and Sport Relief (as well as participating in the Hell on High Seas challenge sailing from London to Belfast). Away from sport he’s fronted the National Lottery, The One Show, Claimed and Shamed, coverage of the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations, and cinema broadcasts of performances from the Royal Opera House.
Ore won over audiences with his hugely popular and accomplished performances on Strictly Come Dancing, which he went on to win.
