Biography

Comedian, author, and actor Laura Lexx is an all-round performer bursting with talent, and creativity. She boasts a series of highly polished and critically acclaimed stand up shows, and has TV and radio appearances in abundance. Her Edinburgh Fringe shows have won her Best Performer in the Comedian’s Choice Awards – an award voted solely by other comedians - two years in a row. She has appeared on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, and Roast Battle.

Described as a stand-up star by The Telegraph, Laura tackles modern topics and debates including feminism, technology, the environment, and anxiety with a contrastingly bubbly and uplifting style.

Laura’s book Klopp Actually, was inspired by a tweet she wrote about Jürgen Klopp that went viral. Her novel Pivot was described by Richard Herring as 'A heart-warming, joyous and assured debut novel about friendship that put me in mind of Kay Mellor at her funniest'.

Laura’s writing has also appeared in Glamour, and she has been featured in The Telegraph, The Times, The Scotsman, the Evening Standard and The Sunday Post.
