Laura Lexx is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor. Her Edinburgh Fringe shows won her Best Performer in the Comedian’s Choice Awards – an award voted solely by other comedians - two years in a row.
Described as a stand-up star by The Telegraph, Laura tackles modern topics and debates including feminism, technology, the environment and anxiety with a contrastingly bubbly and uplifting style. Alongside her stand-up career, Laura has authored a novel and writes regularly on her own popular blog. Her writing has also appeared in Glamour, and she has been featured in The Telegraph, The Times, The Scotsman, the Evening Standard and The Sunday Post.
She has appeared on Live At The Apollo, a number of BBC panel shows, and Radio 4. She has also been named in the Top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe, and has won Best MC in the Comic’s Comic Awards.
