Biography

Spandau Ballet, the most successful group of the eighties New Romantic scene, propelled Tony Hadley to stardom and embodied the music and fashion trends of the era. Hits like True and Gold brought them fame and fortune around the world.

As the Thatcher years drew to a close, Spandau disbanded and Tony pursued a solo career, performing with his own band and presenting on radio and television.

In the ITV show Reborn in the USA, Tony wowed crowds across the US during the eight weeks of the programme with his distinctive voice and natural charm. He won the contest and embarked on a national tour with Peter Cox from Go West and Martin Fry from ABC. Two of the original Spandau members, John Keeble and Steve Norman, then joined Tony to perform some of the classic hits that made his career...
