Since their chart success with Band Of Brothers the 8-piece Welsh choir has toured the land, performed Caliban’s Dream as the cauldron was lit at London’s Olympics – and been described by Elle McPherson as ‘sexy, charming and amazingly talented.’ Their show extends all the way from Sir Duke to Uptown Funk.
Only Men Aloud! rocketed to stardom following their success on the BBC’s television contest Last Choir Standing.
Within hours of being named The Nation’s Favourite Choir they signed a five-album deal with Universal Music. Their first release sold over a quarter of a million copies and achieved gold status within a week.
Their second album, Band of Brothers, went straight to number one in the UK Classical Charts and won Album of the Year at the Classical Brits. It features new interpretations of modern classics such as Queen's 'Somebody to Love' and Welsh traditional anthems including 'Land of Our Fathers' and 'Blaenwern'.
The choir have attracted a number of high profile collaborations such as Josh Groban and Russell Watson plus Welsh talents Bonnie Tyler, Rhydian Roberts, Aled Jones and Katherine Jenkins.
OMA’s live sets demonstrate their eccentric tastes with a repertoire ranging from 15th Century classical arias through to modern day pop classics.
