Biography

Adam Rowe has built a formidable reputation on the UK’s comedy circuit in a relatively short time. A hit on social media as well as live, his brand of confident, chatty performance has seen him win over audiences around the world. 

Mischievous, honest and laid back, Adam’s delivers a combination of well-crafted stories and quick ad libs about his life, relationships, and growing up in Liverpool. He’s also a winner of the Edinburgh Fringe joke of the year, with his line “Working at the jobcentre has to be a tense job, knowing that if you get fired, you still have to come in the next day.”

Live he’s supported Jason Manford and US stand up star Bill Burr, including two nights at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as his own sold-out UK tours.

Adam has appeared on the BBC Radio 5 Live show Fighting Talk, the award-winning Liverpool-based podcast The Anfield Wrap, and on Live at the Apollo and Roast Battle.

His podcast Have A Word with fellow comedian Dan Nightingale has had almost four million downloads, and two million listens on Spotify. It’s also had five million views on YouTube, and nearly three million likes on TikTok. Guests have included Jimmy Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Daniel Sloss and Jason Manford.

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
