Biography

Suzi Ruffell is an award-winning comedian, actor and writer. She’s been described as “instinctively, exquisitely funny" by the Evening Standard, and as delivering an “excellent hour of stand up” by The Sunday Times.

A natural and engaging storyteller, Suzi balances personal tales of anxiety and awkwardness with a defiantly upbeat, cheery demeanour and a constant reminder of the positive things in life - from good hair days to modern kitchen appliances.

Popular on the club and festival circuit Suzi’s supported the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr, Joe Lycett, and Kevin Bridges on tour. A regular on TV and radio, Suzi’s appeared on Live at The Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, Mock the Week, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Radio 4’s The Now Show and The News Quiz.

On her podcast Out, Suzi talks about the inspiring lives of LGBTQIA+ people. She also co-hosts Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen, and joined Sunday Times Wine Columnist Will Lyons, on the podcast Wine Times, to share their love of wine, conversation and vinous culture with a host of special guests.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
