BIOGRAPHY
Charlie Browne is IKEA UK's Environmental and Sustainable Development Manager. He has worked in the field for over a decade with the main focus being store operations, including waste management, energy conservation and resource efficiency.
After joining IKEA Charlie worked in the Risk and Health and Safety area before his interest in environmental matters brought him into Environmental Management for chain. His current priorities are the implementation of renewable energy into IKEA buildings and green travel plans for all units.
Prior to joining the Swedish firm, Charlie was a member of the armed forces and a specialist in security and risk management.
