Debra Stephenson Leo Johnson

Fee Band

The former Coronation Street and Bad Girls star, and Jon Culshaw’s co-star in The Secret World and The Impressions Show, brings a repertoire of voices all the way from Angelina Jolie to Hilary Devey.

After a successful run on Opportunity Knocks as a teenager, Debra Stephenson found herself on Blue Peter, impersonating Esther Rantzen. She has since become one of Britain’s best-known impressionists, one half of The Impressions Show with Culshaw and Stephenson.

As well as her partnership with Jon Culshaw, Debra has provided voices for Spitting Image, and its successor Newzoids. As an actor, she’s starred in roles in the Channel 4 comedy-drama My Mad Fat Diary, and in the BBC prequel to Keeping Up Appearances, Young Hyacinth.

Away from comedy, Debra is known for her long-running character Shell Dockley in ITV’s Bad Girls, and as Danny Baldwin’s wife Frankie in Coronation Street. She’s also appeared in Waterloo Road, Where the Heart Is, Midsomer Murders, and Holby City.

In addition she’s cropped up on Pointless Celebrities, Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, Celebrity Masterchef, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and has been a regular on Loose Women. She brings a whole host of voices to award ceremonies.

Agent Recommendation

When you book Debra you get Miranda Hart, Davina McCall, Anne Robinson and more into the bargain: she’s an excellent impressionist. More than that, she’s lovely to work with – fun, gracious, encouraging and glamorous.
