Since captivating TV viewers in I’d Do Anything and playing Nancy in Oliver!, Jodie has starred in Candy Cabs and Hustle, and toured with John Barrowman. She also appeared in the National Theatre transfer, One Man Two Guvnors. In cabaret Jodie belts out big musical numbers by Streisand and Minnelli.
Jodie captivated the public when she appeared on the BBC’s I’d Do Anything. Chosen as the people’s Nancy, she appeared in Oliver! for fifteen months and won the Theatregoers’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.
After leaving Oliver! in 2010, Jodie played the Lady of The Lake in the No.1 UK tour of Spamelot. She also supported John Barroman on his UK concert tour and landed her first TV role in BBC 1 drama, Candy Cabs.
Jodie’s warm and infectious personality earned her a presenting role at The Midweek National Lottery and sees her regularly covering for Elaine Page on a Sunday and Paul O’Grady on Radio 2. Readers of the TV Times voted Jodie their favourite Reality TV star of 2008.
Jodie’s concert appearances include Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night and The Andrew Lloyd Webber 60th Birthday Party. She recorded So Close with John Barrowman on his latest album and In The Mood for The Very Best Of Glenn Miller.
Jodie’s cabaret set to playback includes big musical numbers from the likes of Nancy, Minelli and Streisand.
