He made 85 appearances in England’s back row, many as captain, and was the only player on the field for every minute of every match in the famous World Cup campaign. Since hanging up his boots he has cycled from Rome to Edinburgh for Sport Relief. Lawrence talks about pushing for success, even when the odds are against you.

Biography

In a remarkable career Lawrence Dallaglio won almost every accolade in rugby, representing England at every level. He earned 85 caps, performed a key role in the Six Nations Grand Slam and played every minute of every match in the triumphant World Cup campaign.

Lawrence also won praise for his role in the successful British Lions tour of South Africa, and for his loyal service to Wasps. He captained the London side to the League Championship title in the first year of the professional game, and went on to finish a long club career with victory in the final of the Guinness Premiership. Since hanging up his boots he has cycled from Rome to Edinburgh for Sport Relief.
