The jocular Scot sold 400,000 tickets for his last tour. His book, We Need To Talk About Kevin Bridges, has also achieved bestseller status. In his live show Kevin muses on sport, career choices and the talents of his fellow Glaswegians. According to The Guardian ‘It’s mainstream comedy with very sharp elbows.’

Biography

With a talent described by The Scotsman as ‘frightening,’ Kevin Bridges has a natural warmth, timing and easy manner which belies his youth and has seen him become one of the country’s top stand-ups.

First appearing on the stage at the age of 15, Kevin had never seen a live stand-up performance before. His interest is said to have been stoked by Frank Skinner’s autobiography and a couple of Peter Kay DVDs. His comedy career started to take off a couple of years later, where he reached the finals of the So You Think You’re Funny? talent contest at the Edinburgh Fringe.
He has ascended the ranks and is now regarded as one of the UK’s top comedians.

Kevin returned to Edinburgh with his debut solo show at the age of 20. In An Hour To Sing For Your Soul, Kevin entertained sell-out Fringe audiences with stories of Poundshop brawls and unsuccessful graffiti artists. He rose to public prominence with an outstanding set to rave reviews on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

In a relatively short period Kevin cemented his reputation as a comedy superstar with his massive live tour The Story So Far, which led to two BBC series, What’s the Story? and The Story Continues... His first huge sell-out UK tour saw him perform to 10,000 of his fellow Glaswegians at the SECC and his second sold 45,000 tickets in a single day and shifted over 300,000 copies on DVD.

He has made numerous appearances on shows such as Mock the Week, The Jonathon Ross Show, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats followed, alongside a headline slot on Live at The Apollo.

Kevin has also written his autobiography We Need to Talk about Kevin Bridges and it was a Sunday Times bestseller.

Agent Recommendation

Much has been made of Kevin’s age but it’s still difficult to believe he’s so young when you see him perform. He’s got confidence in spades, and event producers love him because he’s so accommodating and mature. I love his cheeky grin as he waits for the audience to catch up with his punchline.
