BIOGRAPHY
Matt Barbet is the lead presenter and news correspondent on Five News. Before his move to the commercial network, he presented BBC Breakfast and fronted BBC London news, covering a raft of breaking stories including the 7/7 bombings.
Matt began his career at ITN before moving to Newsbeat at BBC Radio One. He also hosted BBC News 24's STORYFix and presented regional feeds for Children in Need.

A good speaker or presenter is someone who takes a brief and does their own research into the industry. Somebody who empathises with the audience and tailors their material accordingly, but at the same time does not swear or take the mickey. Obviously they need to be entertaining, witty and when presenting keep to the script. If they fulfill all these objectives they can be the highlight of the event.
