Biography

Greg Williams is the Executive Editor of Exponential View, the publication that the world's most influential decision-makers across business, finance, technology, policy and research turn to for analysis and frameworks on AI and technology. He previously spent almost a decade as Editor of WIRED UK, where he became one of the industry's most respected editors, winning BSME Editor of the Year for Science and Technology four times. He also served as WIRED’s Global Editorial Director.

Greg explores how leaders can make sense of rapid technological change and how organisations can build cultures ready to quickly adapt to it. Drawing from his time observing and working closely with the world's leading authorities in science, technology and business, he examines the rise of AI and automation, the future of work and leadership, digital ethics and resilience. He makes complex subjects, from artificial intelligence and quantum computing to the politics of tech and cybersecurity, accessible to global audiences of decision-makers. Cutting through hype and distinguishing signal from noise, Greg explains not just what is coming next, but what it could mean for industries, societies and leaders. With journalistic clarity, up-to-the-minute data, original insights and storytelling, he helps organisations navigate uncertainty, challenge assumptions and develop strategic responses to a world shaped by technology.

At WIRED Greg interviewed leaders from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Google DeepMind co-founder Demis Hassabis to Prime Ministers Blair, May and Johnson, to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, giving him a rare insight into how technology is reshaping organisations and power. Before joining WIRED, Greg held senior editorial roles at the Evening Standard and Arena, as well as on international reporting teams covering global culture, conflict and political change. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the UN AI for Good conference, Web Summit, Viva Tech, Cannes Lions and the World Governments Summit.
