The Last Leg
Comedian
Seann's stand-up style has been described as ?impressively universal, gag-heavy, and observational?. On TV he has featured in 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, Celebrity Juice, QI, and Live at the Apollo, and made memorable appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Described as “the best observational comedian of his generation” by The Guardian, Seann Walsh has won over audiences nationwide with his assured yet relaxed delivery and easy, self-deprecating charm. His stand up show After This One, I’m Going Home ended with standing ovations around the country.
With the dishevelled look of a life-long student, Seann combines an understated, almost nonchalant air with easy, affable charm and charisma. His well-crafted punchlines and stories focus on the everyday experiences of social embarrassment, drinking, stopping smoking and struggling against a world designed to thwart laziness.
Seann has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Tonight at The London Palladium, Celebrity Juice, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Virtually Famous, and 8 Out of 10 Cats. He also went into the jungle on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here on a memorable year with his campmates Chris Moyles, Boy George, Jill Scott, Charlene White, and Matt Hancock.
His stand-up special Kiss recounted living through the centre of a media storm during his time on Strictly Come Dancing, in his distinctively shambolic, intense and energetic trademark style, and is free to watch on YouTube.
Seann can also be heard on his podcast What’s Upset You Now, alongside co-host Paul McCaffrey, which sees them both moan for exactly fifteen minutes about the things that infuriate everyone.
"The entertainment went down exceptionally well! Seann was very good."
Seann was a friendly and pleasant guy, though he hadn't been briefed on the event that well. He was flexible and easy going in terms of timing and his set was appropriate for the audience. The feedback from our staff has been positive. We have taken his feedback regarding the fact he couldn't hear very well and will provide a monitor for entertainers in the future.
He met the objectives and brief very well. The set was mostly very clean and observational, strayed into slightly risqué but to be expected at that point in an evening. Seann was happy to start earlier than originally agreed due to the evening running ahead of schedule and we felt that Seann stayed on stage slightly longer than anticipated, and we are grateful to him for this.
Guests were particularly pleased when Seann came back into the room and spoke to some of them, gave autographs and had some photos taken, all very much appreciated.
