Biography

Emma Crosby is a Bafta-winning journalist and presenter who has worked on Sky News, ITV, Channel 5, and CNBC.

Specialising in business and financial news, Emma began her broadcasting career at CNBC, from both London and New York, covering global markets. She later became Sky News’s business presenter and covered the 2008 global financial crisis, reporting live from the London Stock Exchange, the Nasdaq, and the floor of the New York Stock Exchange during that tumultuous time.

Moving to general news, Emma was a core member of the Sky News presenting team for over five years, anchoring the breakfast show Sunrise, as well as rolling news coverage throughout the day. Her coverage of the 2007 Glasgow Airport terrorist attack earned her and Sky News a Bafta for Best News Coverage. She went on to co-present GMTV on ITV before becoming the lead presenter of Channel 5’s flagship nes programme, 5 News, before returning to Sky.

Alongside broadcasting, Emma is an experienced conference facilitator, moderator, and awards presenter. As well as hosting sessions at the World Economic Forum in Davos, she has broad her brand of insight, impartial and authoritative moderating to organisations including BP, HSBC, ING, O2, Novo Nordisk, Virgin, Standard Bank, and the Institute of Directors.
