Named after Rita Hayworth, the award-winning R&B star was the face of Madonna’s Material Girl fashion range. Held up by one critic as ‘a fusion of Rihanna and Melinda Messenger,’ Rita’s live set includes RIP, How We Do (Party) and Shine Ya Light – with a full band or single guitar for intimate engagements.

Biography

Singer-songwriter star Rita Ora has become one of the biggest names in UK music. Influenced by everything from pop to jazz, hip-hop to blues to dance, Rita has been feted by Jay-Z, supported Coldplay on tour, and broken in to the US in only a few years.

First hitting the top of the UK charts providing vocals for DJ Fresh’s Hot Right Now, Rita went on to follow this with two more number ones with her first solo release R.I.P. (with Tinie Tempah) and How We Do (Party). She followed this by also topping the album charts with her
debut release Ora.

Away from her music, Rita has appeared as a guest judge on The X Factor. She has a burgeoning acting career with film and TV roles including an appearance in Fast & Furious 6 and a role in the much anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. She has also made an impression in the fashion world as a model (including a cover shoot for US Elle), performing at fashion events, and working with acclaimed photographer Rankin as well as Calvin Klein and Rimmel.

At events, Rita can perform with full band or accompanied by a solo guitarist.
