Biography

Rebecca Ferguson came to prominence when she appeared on The X Factor. Over the past ten years she has performed with some of the most legendary names in the music industry, including Lionel Ritchie, Andrea Bocelli, Burt Bacharach, and John Legend, and has been nominated for two MOBO Awards and one MTV Europe Music Award.

She is also involved in other areas of the entertainment business and is regularly featured on TV and Radio, including being a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women and a regular contributor to BBC Radio 2.

Rebecca’s debut album, Heaven, was released to massive commercial and critical success. It sold over 130,000 copies in its first week and peaked at No three on the UK Official Charts.

Additionally, it was certified two times platinum in the UK and platinum in Ireland. Her second album, Freedom, was met with rave reviews and debuted at number six on the UK Album charts and was certified Gold by the BPI.

Rebecca has been campaigning tirelessly for an improved environment within the music industry. She has successfully initiated a cross-creative industry committee that meets regularly with the government and members of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport. Rebecca is fighting for independent regulation in the music business and is determined to drive change. In a short period of time, she has managed to implement several initiatives that, in time, will see better practices for the creative industries.
