Biography

Henry Rose Lee is an inter-generational diversity and inclusion expert, consultant and author helping organisations develop sustainable futures of work across all generations. Working in business development and sales with international companies before almost two decades as an CIPD HR Qualified Consultant and Master Certified Coach, Henry has studied workplace motivation, generational attitudes and behaviours and has worked with companies including Cisco, Legal and General, and Capita.

Approaching a new world of work, the first to embrace more than three generations at once, Henry's research and diagnostic studies have established her as an authority on how organisations can adapt leadership and management styles to get the best from people across multiple generations. She delivers practical insights and tools that increase collaboration, understand and performance whilst reducing attrition across all groups. She also dispels myths about the youngest talent in the workplace, providing ideas to motivate and engage generational cohorts with very different expectations, values and working styles.

Henry explores how to attract and recruit the right young talent, identifying what to do – and more importantly what not to do – in order to draw in and retain Gen Z and Gen Alpha. She addresses engagement and retention, confirming how to motivate and engage younger talent, increasing their sense of belonging and ability to perform without ignoring more experienced groups. She examines remote teamwork, identifying the communication, collaboration and performance challenges of working from home. She also considers leadership in the future, looking at how leaders must evolve to take diverse generational workforces forward, creating workplace satisfaction and happiness as the foundation for increased productivity and performance. Henry is the author of The Ultimate Guide to Remote Teamwork, a practical guide for leaders and teams managing distributed, hybrid and remote collaboration.
