Since leaving the breakfast TV sofa Louise hosts Her Spirit Podcast to inspire women everywhere to live a healthier, happier life. She has also appeared as herself in Spooks and Torchwood, competed in Celebrity MasterChef, and represented Britain at the World Triathlon Championships.

Louise Minchin co-hosted BBC Breakfast for twenty years, and previously anchored news bulletins on BBC One and BBC News. She has also presented sports and factual shows, and even had a cameo role (as herself) in Spooks and Silent Witness.
After starting out on the Latin American section of the BBC World Service, Louise graduated to supporting the team on Radio 4’s Today programme. She then reported for Radio Berkshire and went on to present numerous slots on Radio 5 Live. Before joining BBC Breakfast, she was one of BBC News’s main anchors. Louise has fronted the BBC’s triathlon coverage, has guest hosted The One Show, and presented the BBC One series Real Rescues, Missing Live, and Crime and Punishment, and appeared in the Channel 4 history series Time Crashers.
Undertaking a BBC Breakfast Christmas cycling challenge inspired Louise to embrace endurance sport, undertaking a 100 mile hike across the Namibian desert for Sport Relief, and going on to be a competitive triathlete, featuring in World and European Championships as well as one of the toughest triathlons in the world, the Norseman. He competitive streak was also on display in apperances on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and in Celebrity MasterChef, where she was the runner up in the final.
Louise hosted Her Spirit, a podcast discussing women's physical and mental health in relation to exercise. She also hosts the podcast, Push Your Peak in which she sits down with those that have done extraordinary things, to learn what it takes, mentally and physically, to go again and again. She is the author of Dare to Tri, the story of her triathlon journey, and Fearless - Adventures with Extraordinary Women, documenting the women who have taken on the toughest physical and sporting challenges.
