Biography
Larry Dean is an award-winning Scottish stand-up, writer and actor, and a Saturday Night Live UK cast member. He has been nominated three times for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for his critically acclaimed solo shows, including his show Fandun that was filmed for Channel 4.
On TV, Larry has appeared on Live at the Apollo multiple times, including as host, as well as Mock the Week, QI, Michael McIntyre's Big Show, House of Games, The Stand Up Sketch Show, and the Royal Variety Performance. He is the co-host of the BBC podcast Famously…On Trial alongside Stacey Dooley, and he featured in the romantic comedy film This Time Next Year.
Larry has performed live around the world, combining well-crafted jokes with stories from his life, turning the touching, traumatic, confusing and complicated into unexpected comedy gold. With his sharp wit and high-energy, Rolling Stone described him as ‘stitch-inducingly funny…an expert regaler of daft.’
