Before hit appearances on Taskmaster and Last One Laughing, Amy became the first comedian to be nominated for both Best Newcomer and Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe. She;s also appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show, The One Show, Pointless Celebrities, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Hypothetical, and The Emily Atack Show.
Biography
Comedian Amy Gledhill is known for her mix of everyday observations, confessional stories, and off-beat tangents and has been a hit with appearances on Taskmaster and Amazon's Last One Laughing.
Amy's debut live show, The Girl Before The Girl You Marry was nominated for Best Live Show at The National Comedy Awards. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer and Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe, the first time anyone has been named on both shortlists in the same year. Whilst her show, Make Me Look Fit on the Poster, won Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Awards.
As well as her Taskmaster and Last One Laughing appearances, Amy has appeared The Jonathan Ross Show, Pointless Celebrities, Richard Ayoade's Question Team, Hypothetical, and Would I Lie to You? She has performed on The Stand Up Sketch Show, Late Night Mash, and Harry Hill’s Clubnite.
Alongside fellow performer Isy Suttie, Amy hosted the BBC’s official companion podcast to Happy Valley, Obsessed With…Happy Valley, and has been a guest on Off Menu with James Acaster and Ed Gamble.
