Britain’s Queen of Soul has collected three MOBOs and enjoyed hits including Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Come As You Are. She’s also starred in Memphis and as Grizabella in the Palladium revival of Cats. In cabaret Beverley sings with a 6-piece or to playback, with or without backing vocalists.


Biography

Beverley Knight is an acclaimed soul singer and songwriter. She has released six albums and won numerous BRITs, MOBOs and a Mercury Music Prize. More recently she has taken on the role of Rachel in the West End stage version of The Bodyguard.

Beverley started out singing gospel music in her church choir. Whilst developing her vocal style she has retained her love for the genre, presenting Beverley’s Gospel Nights for Radio 2.

Beverley has dueted with celebrities on Just The Two Of Us, and enjoyed several successful tours - including one with Take That. She performs a range of soul classics as well as hits including Come As You Are and Shoulda Woulda Coulda.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
