After co-hosting BBC Breakfast, Natasha won the first series of Strictly Come Dancing. She then led news coverage for Channel 5, ITV and Sky News. She now serves as President of the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) and Chair of its Board of Directors.
Natasha originally worked as a researcher for Labour Party leaders John Smith and Neil Kinnock before moving into television. Her first role was to co-present a youth chat show on ITV alongside Sacha Baron Cohen before gonig on to host the news in the Meridian region. She then co-presented London Today and London Tonight with Alastair Stewart.
Alongside news bulletins, Natasha has co-hosted Children in Need, The Proms, and New Year Live for the BBC, and appeared on Have I Got News For You. She hosted the current affairs show Seven Days, and documentaries including The People’s Medal, On The Run and Missing: Without a Trace.
Natasha brings a touch of glamour to the proceedings and dazzles audience and interviewees alike. I’ve seen her equally at home dissecting the prospects for UK Plc with Sir Martin Sorrell as she was entertaining midwives at their awards – she never ever seems to get flustered.
