The Last Leg
Australian Comedian
According to The Scotsman, 'if Prozac was human it would be Adam Hills.' He brought the same energy to Channel 4's Paralympic show. The smiling Aussie comic now hosts a prime-time chat show back home, but returns to the UK for The Last Leg - sharing his contagiously positive outlook.
Host of the award-winning Channel 4 series The Last Leg, Adam Hills is one of Australia’s most talented comedians and one of the most popular comedians in the UK.
With sixteen solo shows that have toured internationally, his combination of positive, uplifting comedy and effervescent spontaneity have seen him receive numerous awards, glowing reviews and a legion of fans around the world. Other television credits include Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Adam can also be seen in the documentary Take His Legs, which followed the remarkable story of the Warrington Wolves Physical Disability Rugby League team. The documentary saw Adam and his teammates prepare for the biggest game of their lives, playing against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the ANZ Stadium in Australia.
His book Best Foot Forward was an honest collection of stories about Adam's ups and downs in the world of comedy. He has also written the widely acclaimed children’s novel Rockstar Detectives.
"Hills delivers stand up so effortlessly brilliantly you wonder why some comedians even get out of bed."
For the second time this week, Adam was great! He was very polite and took on board the brief we gave him, really researched the crowd and involved the audience. They loved him!
Adam was a fantastic host, a lovely guy and really funny. We have had some great feedback from the audience, so we look forward to using him in the future!
