Bagpipes with Attitude
Mixing pipes and drums with an electric guitar and distinctly sexy costumes, the boys describe their act as 'bagpipes with attitude.' Three million watched their cover of Avicii's Wake Me Up. Complete with choreographed moves, they bring real Scottish flair to the likes of Queen and Coldplay.
The RHCP first grabbed public attention as winners of BBC 1’s When Will I be Famous? They have since scooped a major Scottish music award and released a successful album, and look set to spread their life-enhancing magic across the known universe.
Putting a thoroughly modern spin on pipes and drums, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers tackle almost everything from Queen and Jimi Hendrix to Coldplay. Describing themselves as ‘bagpipes with attitude,’ the performance includes electric guitar and distinctly unceremonial costumes.
‘We thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance.’
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance.
Very professional. A little more muted than we’re used to (have used them twice before) but this is probably due to the fact that the room was quite small and the crowd was predominantly male, which sometimes affects the atmosphere.
