Cassandra built PROPER Snacks into Europe's largest independent healthier snacking company. She currently sits on the UK government's food & drink sector council and was awarded an MBE for services to the food industry.

Biography

Cassandra Stavrou is regarded as spearheading the healthy snacking boom in the UK. PROPER’s products are now sold in over twenty countries and listed in every major retailer. It was one of the first food brands to recognise the true value of community and culture, developing a much envied 'cult-like' audience along the way. It also became the first ever B Corp snacks company.

Cassandra sold PROPER Snacks as part of a major deal to form one of Europe’s largest healthy snacking companies, WARP Snacks – creating a new challenger to the established market giants, with over £100m in sales. She navigated and completed the deal during the height of the UK’s unceremonious departure from the EU, COVID-19 and while she was pregnant. She remains both operational and on the board of WARP Snacks.

She is also an active angel investor and advisor, backing the next generation of impact businesses.
