The former Capital drivetime presenter is an assured live performer, polishing his skills as a warm-up for Frank Skinner and Have I Got News For You.
As well as being a popular radio presenter, fronting Capital’s Radio’s drivetime show for many year, Greg Burns has also made a name as a quick-witted, amiable stand-up comedian. His everyday observations and down-to-earth personality win over audiences onstage and on-air.
Greg started his career on Heart FM, before moving to Virgin. He was then lured to the morning show on the UK’s biggest commercial station, Capital FM - where he was nominated for a Sony award. After over eight years with Capital he joined the Sydney-based station Nova.
Away from radio, Greg has performed at comedy gigs all over the world. He has appeared in The Office Christmas special and The 11 O’Clock Show, and warmed up for Have I Got News For You, Clive Anderson and Frank Skinner.
