After a degree in Language and Linguistics, Charlie became the face of Real Madrid TV, the first club-run sports channel of its kind. After a few years of regular interviews (and an Adidas campaign) with Beckham, Ronaldo and Zidane she moved to ESPN, becoming the first female sports presenter in Asia and fronting the Premier League coverage there.

She regularly competes in marathons, is a qualified personal trainer and has gained her FA Level2 coaching badge. She writes for Running Fitness Magazine, the Huffington Post and the Sheffield Star.

In her role as Women’s Aid ambassador, Charlie works to raise awareness of domestic and sexual abuse and, as well as being part of the MOJ’s Justice Victims Panel, she has spoken in Parliament, appeared on This Week, and directly influenced legislation. She is an experienced corporate host and speaker, on a wide variety of subjects, from the RCM obesity seminar to the London Football Coaches Association Dinner.
