13 members of Spelthorne Gymnastics Club formed a troupe to audition for Britain’s Got Talent; months later they scooped the title – watched by 15 million. They’ve since broken their ‘throw and catch’ record, performed for The Queen and featured prominently in the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Spelbound are an awe-inspiring gymnastic troupe comprising of seven boys and six girls, with ages ranging from 12 to 24. They are all winners of numerous medals in acrobatic gymnastics and between them have represented Great Britain all over the world, including at the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships where they won two gold and two silver medals.
Spelbound are best known for their impressive win on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. Formed by members of the Spelthorne Gymnastics Club in Surrey specifically for the competition, each member of Spelbound currently holds, or has held, British National titles in their individual gymnastic categories.
