Biography

Coached by the legendary Sir Tom Jones, Ruth Brown was one of the favourites to win the first series of The Voice UK until she was unexpectedly voted out in the semi final.

Her renditions of Emile Sandé’s “Next to Me” and Oleta Adams’ “Get Here” were followed by standing ovations from the judges and audience. Since her shock exit from The Voice UK, Ruth has been busy writing and recording a new album to be released in early 2013.
